All this will work naturally if you rooted your device first... 1) Remove Kindle Fire by hacking trick First, you need to root your Kindle Fire. Please refer to this article for the rooting tutorial: How to root Kindle Fire Open ES File Explorer and go to /system/app. You can find an app called Dtcp_apk.apk.. This app is used for displaying app. We need to disable it. Rename the app as .Dtcp_apk.bat.. Now the Kindle Fire cant call the ad app any longer. 2) Remove certificates : ES File Explorer will function like a full-fledged root browser. Use the Up button to navigate to the /system/etc/security/ directory/. From there either delete otacerts.zip, or move otacerts.zip to the downloads folder for safe keeping. You could technically store otacerts.zip anywhere, it just needs to not be in the security folder if you want to keep the Kindle Fire from automatically updating.
